2. What Personal Data We Collect
We do not collect, store, or process any personal data directly on this website.
This website is a personal portfolio and consulting presentation. There is no registration, no user accounts, no contact form that stores data on our servers, and no directly operated email subscription service.
The only way you may share personal data with us is voluntarily — for example, by sending an email or booking a call through Calendly. In those cases, your data is governed by the respective service's privacy policy (see Section 4).
3. Analytics — Google Analytics 4
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
GA4 collects aggregated, anonymised data about how visitors interact with this website, including:
- Pages visited and time spent
- Approximate geographic location (country/city level only)
- Device type and browser
- Referral source (how you arrived at the site)
This data is used solely to understand site traffic patterns and improve content. IP addresses are anonymised by default in GA4 and no personally identifiable information is sent to Google.
The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in understanding website performance (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may opt out of GA4 tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Third-Party Services
This website links to or embeds the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Calendly — used for scheduling consultation calls. If you book a call, Calendly processes your name and email address in accordance with Calendly's Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics — see Section 3 above.
- Vercel — this website is hosted on Vercel Inc.'s infrastructure. Vercel may process server logs (including IP addresses) for security and operational purposes. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
5. Cookies
This website uses only the following cookies:
- Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) — analytics, expire after 2 years. These are non-essential cookies.
No essential session cookies, login cookies, or preference cookies are set by this website itself.
6. Data Transfers Outside the EU
Google Analytics data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which provides an adequate level of protection under GDPR.
7. Your Rights Under GDPR
As a data subject in the European Union, you have the following rights:
- Right of access — you can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
- Right to erasure — you can request deletion of your personal data.
- Right to restrict processing — you can request that we limit how we use your data.
- Right to object — you can object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Right to data portability — you can request your data in a portable format.
- Right to lodge a complaint — you may file a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH): www.naih.hu.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at: mate.szabo@nixiconsulting.com
8. Data Retention
Since we do not store personal data on our own servers, there is no retention period to define for direct data. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months (the minimum default setting). Any email correspondence is retained for up to 3 years or as required by law.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
